E<\/strong>: This refers to the integrity or ability of an element to withstand the effects of fire on one side without allowing the fire to spread to the unexposed side through the passage of flames or gases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n I: <\/strong> Insulation or the ability of a component to withstand exposure to fire on one side without the fire spreading due to heat<\/strong> transfer.<\/p>\n\n Insulation Class I1<\/strong>: Average 140\u00b0C, Maximum 180\u00b0C. Measurements taken 25 mm from the pane and frame at 180\u00b0C. <\/p>\n\n Insulation Class I2<\/strong>: Average 140\u00b0C, Maximum 180\u00b0C. Measurements taken 100 mm from the pane and frame at 360\u00b0C. <\/p>\n\n t<\/strong>: Half the fire resistance rating required for the wall in which it is located, or one-fourth of that rating when installed through a fire-separated lobby with two doors.<\/p>\n\n
