The door must be closed to seal off the room and contain the fire for a certain period of time. When the fire door is open and a fire breaks out, the fire can easily spread to other compartments of the building, since there is no barrier to stop it.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is important to equip the door with an automatic locking device to ensure that it closes on its own if someone leaves it open.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is an automatic lock?<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Door closers are <\/strong>closing devices designed to close swing doors.
