There are various types of accessories available for opening a fire door. Here are some options we find useful:
1. Handle with keyhole + standard lock with cylinder and key.
2. Door handle + panic lock that allows the door to be locked from the outside with a key and opened from the inside with the handle without a key.
3. Panic bar + panic lock (same as above, but with the handle replaced by a horizontal bar).
4. If the door has two leaves, you can use a handle and a strike plate to release the latches on the passive leaf.
5. External latch with a button for the passive sash.
Other accessories
1. Electromagnet to keep the doors open. A power outage deactivates the electromagnets, allowing the door to close.
2. Door closers to ensure that fire doors close properly.
